The mission of the Cedar City Housing Authority is to assist low-income families with safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the qualify of their lives.
This program provides rental assistance to low-income, elderly and disabled families to afford decent, safe and sanitary housing in the private market. Because housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own housing, including single-family homes, townhouses and apartments. Rental units must meet minimum standards of health and safety, as determined by HUD and the Cedar City Housing Authority. Eligibility for the voucher is based on a family’s household income
