Regular exercise helps digestive function, glucose regulation, and releases hormones in your bloodstream that elevate your mood and help you think more clearly. Choosing the right balance of vegetables fruits, protein and fat sources support your body’s important systems and help you heal and regenerate as you pursue regular exercise. Your Senior Center has trained dietitians on staff who will help you plan food choices and meals at home that will support an active life.
